| Percy, as some of you know, is a native of Wales, and he will always appreciate a good tea, a rare find in Frederick, Maryland. The night before was short and a bit of stimulant was needed. |

| Some have a more urgent need, and a few aspirin dull the pounding in the head that some of us might experience after a long hang with the guys at Orion Sound Studios. |

| Percy and I have similar interests, one of which is geology. A side benefit of being on the road is road cuts. They reveal interesting geological layers that would otherwise be hidden under our feet. So we had to make a short detour in order to check this one, the best one I came across so far. We are at the top of a hill, which reveals the bottom of a fold (just picture a rug that is pushed and folds up) well just behind Sarah and Percy is 150 million year's worth of sediments. But we have to get back on the road, there's still 100 miles to Pittsburgh. |

| After the show we get a night cap at a local bar, (Sarah is the designated driver, in case you're wondering!) before we hit the road for two more hours in the direction of Dayton Ohio, where Sarah will be giving a master class at the University, and John will join in to demonstrate how we took these old melodies and re-arranged them. |
